At Zeus4x4, we design and supply our products to handle real-world 4x4 conditions. That's why we back our accessories with one of the strongest warranty programs in the industry.
This Warranty Policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
Warranty Periods by Product Category
Warranty periods vary depending on the product category, reflecting the expected lifespan and application of each item. The warranty period begins from the date of original purchase or collection.

Where a specific product's warranty period is stated on its product listing page, that period will take precedence over the general category listed above.
What Our Warranty Covers
1. Manufacturing or Design Defects
If a manufacturing or design defect is identified within the applicable warranty period, Zeus4x4 may choose to:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product
- Supply an equivalent product (new, refurbished, or repaired)
- Provide a partial or full refund
The final remedy will be determined at Zeus4x4's discretion following inspection of the product.
2. Transit Damage
If shipping insurance or freight protection was purchased at checkout and the product arrives damaged, repair or replacement will be completed in accordance with the insurer's claims process.
3. Product Recalls
If Zeus4x4 issues a product recall, we will repair or replace the affected component(s) at no cost to the customer, at Zeus4x4's sole discretion.
4. Third-Party Products
Products manufactured by other brands (sold through Zeus4x4) are covered by the warranty terms provided by their respective manufacturer.
Warranty Eligibility
Your warranty is valid when:
- A valid proof of purchase is provided
- The product is installed according to Zeus4x4 fitting instructions
- Installation is carried out by a suitably qualified or licensed fitter/mechanic competent in 4x4 accessory installation
- The product has been correctly maintained
- The product is used only for its intended purpose and on the vehicle type it was designed for
- For roof racks and tray/canopy products, mounting hardware has been checked/re-torqued after the first 500km of use
- The claim is made by the original purchaser (warranty is non-transferable)
Note: Repairs or replacements do not extend or restart the original warranty period.
What Isn't Covered
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
- Incorrect or improper installation
- Product modifications or alterations
- Use of non-genuine or non-approved components installed alongside Zeus4x4 products
- Incorrect or non-recommended vehicle applications
- Overloading beyond the product's rated capacity (including tray, rack, and tub rack load ratings)
- Competition, racing, off-road racing, or off-label use without prior written consent from Zeus4x4
- Misuse, negligence, or unusual/improper use
- Accidental damage (e.g. impact, collision, vandalism)
- Normal wear and tear (including slide mechanisms, hinges, seals, and latches)
- Cosmetic damage such as scratches, chips, or fading (touch-up may be required over the life of the product)
- Corrosion caused by failure to clean off salt, mud, or chemical exposure after off-road or coastal use
⚠️ Important: Installing this product alongside non-genuine or unapproved aftermarket components may void this warranty. Damage caused by fitment error is not covered.
Warranty Claim Costs
Unless otherwise required by the Australian Consumer Law, the customer is responsible for costs associated with:
- Removal and reinstallation
- Freight (both to and from Zeus4x4 for inspection)
- Labour and travel
- Packaging (items must be packed to prevent damage in transit — damage occurring during return shipping is not covered)
- Hire vehicles and downtime
- Any consequential losses
Zeus4x4 may, at its discretion, assist with freight costs for approved warranty claims as a goodwill gesture. This does not apply to any other customer-incurred costs.
Returns of Unused Products
Where a product is returned in unused, resalable condition and Zeus4x4 is not at fault (e.g. incorrect item ordered by the customer), a 15% restocking fee may apply.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Email sales@zeus4x4.com.au with details of the fault
- Include your proof of purchase, clear photos of the issue, and vehicle details
- If required, return the product to Zeus4x4 for inspection, packaged to prevent damage in transit
- Zeus4x4 will assess your claim and advise the appropriate resolution

Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The names and reference numbers of manufacturers and suppliers other than Zeus4x4 Accessories Pty Ltd referenced on this website are shown only to assist customers in identifying compatible parts. Zeus4x4 does not imply that its products are those of the original equipment (OE) manufacturer. While care is taken to ensure accuracy, Zeus4x4 does not accept liability for errors or omissions in this policy.
